Representing Veterans in Admin

The array of benefits that have been promised to military veterans and their families are not easily obtained, and many veterans struggle to navigate the complicated system without the assistance of counsel. This course will introduce students to the structure of the US Deparment of Veterans Affairs and the bodies of law that govern the administration of veterans benefits. The course will focus the bulk of its attention on how claims are adjudicated. Through the course, students will be provided with practical experience to serve effectively as counsel in the future. This is a practical writing course.
