The Liberal Arts Major is a rigorous academic major, which requires students to complete an intensive course of study that includes at least 122 credits. The Liberal Arts Major requires a plan of study outlined with a faculty advisor as part of the application process and is granted by special permission from the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Students. Students who declare Liberal Arts as a secondary major must complete the Required Major Courses to achieve this major. Students are able to count any eligible course taken in their primary major, the core curriculum, minors, concentrations, or free electives toward these requirements.
