The Career Center supports all students and alumni of Villanova University throughout every stage of their career journey, from early exploration to post-graduate success. Through individualized coaching, signature events, and industry connections, the Career Center empowers Villanovans to pursue meaningful careers with confidence.
Career Coaching & Advising
Students have access to one-on-one career coaching tailored to their goals and interests. Appointments provide support with career exploration, graduate school application discovery and process, internship and job searches, resume and cover letter development, and interviewing.
We have two student-facing teams to help you on your journey. Students work with the Career Development team to explore their interests and prepare for opportunities, as well as with Industry Advisors, who specialize in specific fields and provide targeted guidance on career paths, industry trends, and job search strategies.
Specialized advising is also available for students who are pursuing pre-health and pre-law pathways, including guidance on application processes, timelines, and experiential opportunities.
Programs and Events
The Career Center hosts a robust calendar of signature events that connect students with employers, alumni, and industry professionals, including career fairs, networking events, employer information sessions, immersion programs and more.
Handshake & Career Resources
Villanova University Career Center uses Handshake for students to explore thousands of job and internship opportunities, register for events, and make appointments.
In addition to digital resources, students can access a variety of on-campus tools to support their professional development, including access to free professional clothing through the Wildcat Wardrobe, utilizing the IRIS Photobooth for professional headshots, and reserving private interview rooms reserved exclusively for virtual or in-person interviews. The Career Center also provides extensive online resources to support career development and graduate or professional school planning through Career Connections.
Career Support for Life
Career support does not end at graduation. Through the Career Management team, Villanova alumni continue to have access to career coaching, resources, and guidance as they navigate career changes and professional growth throughout their lives.
The Career Center is located on the first floor of Garey Hall and offers a welcoming space for the Villanova community to explore resources, meet with staff, and engage in professional development opportunities. The team, including trained student Career Ambassadors, is committed to supporting every Villanovan’s success.
