The law offers a variety of tools to legally astute entrepreneurs advised by strategically astute counsel to create and grow businesses and manage firms more effectively. The course will highlight how attorneys can work more effectively with entrepreneurs as partners in value creation, resource allocation and risk management. The course takes an interdisciplinary approach through integration of law, strategy, and management with a focus on leveraging legal tools to create a competitive advantage. All phases of the entrepreneurial journey will be covered through case study, guest speakers, and exploration of cutting-edge transactional issues. Special emphasis is placed on value creation and complex problem solving to position students to advise, create and lead innovative ventures.
