UNITAS: Office of Community Enrichment works to ensure that every student’s educational and social experience at Villanova University unfolds within a welcoming, caring, just, and educationally purposeful community. Grounded in a shared commitment to the well-being of one another, UNITAS supports efforts across campus that strengthen connection, mutual respect, and a sense of belonging among Villanovans.
In addition to UNITAS: Office of Community Enrichment, there are UNITAS leaders and units embedded across campus. Together, these units extend UNITAS’s mission by responding to the distinct contexts and needs of their communities while remaining connected through shared values and purpose.
Through educational resources, community engagement, leadership development, and structured learning experiences, UNITAS supports the intellectual, social, and spiritual growth of the University community. These efforts recognize the varied lived experiences of students and are essential to fostering a campus environment where all members can learn, engage, and thrive.
Students are encouraged to partner with UNITAS by participating in student organizations and initiatives that contribute to a welcoming and supportive campus culture. Students who have concerns related to the campus climate are invited to share their experiences so that they can receive appropriate support and assistance in addressing those concerns.

Dr. Terry Nance Center for Dialogue
The Dr. Terry Nance Center for Dialogue engages the Villanova community in the practice of dialogue by teaching skills and creating opportunities for meaningful interaction and community building.
Dialogue is a strategically facilitated and sustained group process through which individuals learn the skills to engage in honest and dignifying conversations as they build relationships and community.
In these conversations, participants explore their identity and lived experience with the goal of increasing their understanding of self, others, systemic (in)equity, (in)justice, and their own agency to enact change.
Trained faculty and staff from throughout the University serve as Dialogue Facilitators.
Nance Center for Dialogue courses are offered in partnership with UNITAS: The Office of Community Enrichment and the Department of Communication.
